01

Pure Silver

Pure silver (Ag) contact wire has the highest electrical and thermal conductivity of all the electrical contact materials. Based on it’s excellent conductivity, arcing-resistant and wear resistant interface, it is ideal to handle high electrical current.

02

Fine-Grain Silver

Fine-Grain Silver (FAg) contact wire is a silver alloy with an addition of 0.15 wt% of Nickel. It has almost the same chemical corrosion resistance as pure silver and exhibits a slightly increased hardness and tensile strength.

03

Silver Nickel

Produced using extrusion of sintered Ag/Ni billets into wires, Nickel particles are embedded in the Ag matrix as fiber structure. With Nickel content ranging 10-30 wt%, Silver Nickel (AgNi) contact wires are commonly used in relays, wiring devices and appliance switches.

04

Silver Cadmium Oxide

Silver Cadmium Oxide (AgCdO) contact wire is a combination of silver and cadmium oxide that is used as electrical contact material which offers low arc erosion and excellent arc extinguishing features. It is commonly used in relays, switches, circuit breakers and contactors.

05

Silver-Tin Oxide

Environmental friendly compared to AgCdO, Silver-Tin Oxide is widely used in contact as it exhibts improved contact and switching properties. Manufactured using either sintering/extrusion or power metallurgy method, it is commonly used in  low voltage electrical switching devices.

06

Silver Tin Oxide Indium Oxide

By introducing addictive to AgSnO2 produced using powder metallurgy, Silver Tin Oxide Indium Oxide (AgSnO2In2O3) contact wire features good welding resistance and low level of arc erosion. It also provides low and stable contact resistance over temperature changes during the working lifespan.

07

Silver Zinc Oxide

Manufactured by combining silver and zinc powder followed by sintering and extrusion methodology, Silver-Zin Oxide (AgZnO2) contact wire offers excellent erosion resistance, low contact resistance and high resistance to welding. It is commonly used for small contactors, circuit breaker, earth leakage/motor protection circuit breaker.

08

Silver Copper Oxide

With features including high hardness level, good electrical and thermal conductivity, stable resistance to welding and good arc erosion resistance, Silver-Copper Oxide (AgCuO2) contact wire is used mainly in medium to high voltage switches including relays, contactors and magnetic switches.
